Co-Founder Anwar Najmi was born the son of a university professor whose guidance from a young age led him to question the conventional path to success. A rebel at heart, Anwar always felt that there was something odd about the way society would, on the surface, encourage individuals to pursue their unique personal vision and then proceed to constrict that very uniqueness to the point of becoming inevident.

When he met his wife Roujeanne, they embarked together on a journey to explore the intersection of biology, physics and informatics in an effort to decode why humans could be so susceptible to such an inimical proposition. But it wasn't until after their daughter Milan was born, when they had the chance to observe a young, innocent mind unfolding, that they stumbled upon the answer - and it was big.

It was so momentous that shortly thereafter, they sold their homes and cars, bought land north of Los Angeles, and embarked on a daring new journey. What knowledge had caused them to willingly break their old life into small pieces and rebuild it into something so radically different? What insight had they gained that had changed everything?
